3IS Tax School is an IRS (Provider # A3QH8) and CTEC (Provider # 6239) approved education provider. We offer a variety of Continuing Education Courses designed to meet the education requirements of Enrolled Agents and Tax Preparers, as well as Qualifying Education Courses for new Tax Preparers.

California CTEC Qualifying Education - Self-Study Course (60 CTEC QE Hours)

The tax course is designed to fulfill the 60 hour qualifying tax education requirement imposed by the state of California to register with CTEC (California Tax Education Council) and become a registered tax preparer that is allowed to prepare taxes in California.

Federal Basic Tax Law Qualifying Education - Self-Study Course (45 QE Hours)

This tax course is designed to give the student the basic federal tax law knowledge needed to be able to prepare and complete individual income tax returns including the most commonly used forms and schedules.

California CTEC Continuing Education - Online Course (20 CTEC CE Hours + 15 IRS AFSP CE Hours)

This tax course is designed to fulfill the annual 20-Hours continuing tax education requirement imposed by the state of California for CTEC (California Tax Education Council) registered tax preparers to renew their registration, as well as the 15 hour continuing tax education requirement of the IRS Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) for exempt tax preparers.
